Former Johnson County judge pleads guilty to money laundering

JOHNSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Former Johnson County Judge Perry Stout pleaded guilty Friday to money laundering and a marijuana-related charge.

According to District Attorney General Steve Finney, Perry Stout was previously charged with money laundering, possession a weapon during commission of a dangerous felony, conspiracy to possess with intent to sale or driver Schedule VI, and maintaining a dwelling for sale or use of narcotics. His wife, Pamela Ann Stout, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to possess with the intent to sale or deliver Schedule II, conspiracy to possess with the intent to sale or deliver Schedule VI, maintaining a dwelling for sale or use of narcotics, and false report.

Perry Stout pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy to possess and resale Schedule VI (marijuana) drugs. His sentencing date has been set for April 22.

Pamela Stout is scheduled to appear in court on February 14.
